Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting a Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Community Learning Disability Team in Glasgow. The role is permanent and full-time, based at Petershill Park Business Centre.

You will assess adults with learning disabilities, provide adaptations and equipment, and support independence within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to service development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• HCPC registration current.
• Experience in Learning Disability or Mental Health services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload of adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Conduct specialist OT assessments and recommend adaptations/equipment.
• Deliver individual and group interventions to maximise independence and participation.
• Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff and students.
