Salary: Up to £23.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

At Circle Rehabilitation, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals with neurological conditions, and we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapeutic interventions, working with the latest technology in a collaborative and supportive environment.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver specialist occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual patient goals.
  • Support patients in developing independence with personal care, domestic tasks, functional mobility, and cognitive or sensory challenges.
  • Use a range of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to promote recovery and quality of life.
  • Manage a complex caseload independently, providing specialist input into treatment plans and discharge decisions.
  • Complete risk assessments and home environment evaluations to support safe discharge planning.
  • Liaise with community services, social care, and other agencies to ensure continuity of care.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Significant post-registration experience across relevant clinical settings (e.g. acute, rehabilitation, mental health, community).
  • Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention planning skills.
  • Experience supervising junior staff or students.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork abilities.
