Job summary

Circle Rehabilitation in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist for bank shifts, joining Circle Health Group. You will assess and treat individuals with neurological needs, supporting independence and safe discharge planning in a collaborative team.

This role requires HCPC registration and substantial post-registration clinical experience across settings, with supervision experience and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver specialist occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual patient goals.
• Support patients in developing independence with personal care, domestic tasks, functional mobility, and cognitive or sensory challenges.
• Use a range of therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to promote recovery and quality of life.
• Manage a complex caseload independently, providing specialist input into treatment plans and discharge decisions.
• Complete risk assessments and home environment evaluations to support safe discharge planning.
• Liaise with community services, social care, and other agencies to ensure continuity of care.

Salary: Up to £23.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
