Job summary

Priory Hospital in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a level 2 rehabilitation service for adult males with mental health needs, aiding their return to the community. Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and supervision to junior occupational therapists, students and the wider therapy team.
• Keep accurate clinical records and ensure practice meets professional standards, Priory policies and best practice guidelines.

Job description

This Senior Occupational Therapist post sits in a level 2 rehabilitation service at Priory Hospital, supporting adult males with mental health needs as they work towards returning to the community. The core of the work is individual assessment and treatment, building daily living and independence goals, and working within a multidisciplinary team. It pairs a clinical caseload with leadership, supervising junior occupational therapists, students and wider therapy staff, on a full-time 37.5-hour pattern. Fit turns on HCPC registration, prior qualified experience in mental health and experience supervising OTs and students.
