Senior Occupational Therapist

Salary: Starting from £36,500 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Handsworth, Birmingham

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our clients specialist mental health services, supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.

About the Role
  • Deliver a range of occupational therapy assessments and interventions to promote recovery and wellbeing.
  • Lead and coordinate therapeutic programmes, including group and individual sessions.
  • Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure service users occupational needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement evidence-based practice using tools such as MOHOST to measure outcomes.
  • Support the development of therapeutic activities tailored to individual needs.
  • Contribute to service improvement and uphold organisational values of dignity, respect, and empowerment.

  • Ability to work core hours (Monday -Friday, 09:00 -17:00).
