Job summary

OH Medical is partnering with a growing Occupational Health provider to recruit an experienced Occupational Health Physician for Inverness-based hybrid role.

You will lead clinical services, deliver case management, and provide strategic input across a diverse client base, while supervising OH Advisors and Technicians. This permanent role offers a blend of clinical delivery and leadership with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC registered with licence to practise.
• Ideally MFOM / FFOM or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Medicine.
• Experience within Occupational Health (public or private sector).
• Strong case management and clinical decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of HSE guidance and employment law in OH.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised, proactive and confident working independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver case management, fitness-for-work assessments and medical advice.
• Manage complex and escalated cases.
• Act as clinical lead supporting OH Advisors and Technicians.
• Conduct health surveillance and workplace assessments.
• Advise on work-related health issues and reasonable adjustments.
• Support health promotion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality and service improvement.
• Liaise with clients and support service development.
