Job summary

NHS Jobs is seeking a Trust Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at ST5-7 level. The post requires full GMC Registration and MRCOG eligibility.

Candidates may be UK or Overseas trainees with suitable experience and basic obstetric ultrasound skills. A senior registrar role includes supervising juniors and covering gynaecology emergencies, with opportunities to work with fetal medicine and maternal medicine clinics at Whipps Cross.

Qualifications

• Must have GMC Registration and MRCOG eligibility.
• Post MRCOG level experience preferred.
• Ultrasound skills in obstetrics are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecology care on delivery and ward rounds.
• Supervise SpR and support junior medical staff on the delivery suite.
• Contribute to teaching, research, audit and journal club.
