Job summary

Springcare Care Homes Ltd is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support our homes for older people. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will lead a team of Health Care Assistants, deliver personal care, and contribute to social care.

Qualifications

• Experienced Nursing Assistant (Senior Care Assistant level 3).
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work as part of a team or unsupervised.
• Self-motivated with ability to motivate and lead a team of care assistants.
• Demonstrates leadership, staying calm under pressure and adapting to ad hoc situations.
• Communicates effectively with residents and colleagues, orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Allocate duties to Health Care Assistants and model best practice.
• Provide personal care and support residents' nutrition, mobility and well-being.
• Assist with clinical tasks under Home Manager guidance, e.g., PEG feeding, medication, and observations.
• Work patterns include day and night contracts.
• Two written references and DBS and right to work checks are required.
