This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to develop their clinical practice and positively influence women’s health outcomes.

EPAGU is an emergency/outpatient setting where women are treated for early pregnancy complications and acute gynaecology issues. Many women experience pregnancy loss; therefore, ensuring the best patient experience is crucial.

The EPAGU team prides itself on a cohesive multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Guy’s and St Thomas's NHS Foundation Trust comprises five of the UK’s best-known hospitals—Guy’s, St Thomas’, Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Royal Brompton, and Harefield—along with community services in Lambeth and Southwark. The Trust has a long history of high-quality care, clinical excellence, research, and innovation.

We are among the UK’s busiest and most successful foundation trusts, providing specialist care in heart and lung, cancer, renal services, and a full range of local hospital and community services for the Lambeth and Southwark areas.

As part of King’s Health Partners, we are one of England’s eight academic health sciences centres, integrating clinical services, teaching, and research. We host a National Institute for Health Research biomedical research centre established with King’s College London and dedicated clinical research facilities.

With around 22,700 staff, we are one of the largest NHS trusts in the country and a major local employer. We are committed to reflecting the diversity of our communities and developing partnerships with local people, patients, NHS organizations, local authorities, charitable bodies, and GPs.

EPAGU cares for women in an outpatient/same-day emergency care setting. It works closely with the gynaecology ward, ACU, FMU, GPs, A&E, and MacNair outpatient department by triaging and accepting urgent referrals. The successful applicant will work closely with the EPAGU team, Sister, and Matron to deliver high-quality, efficient care. As a senior nursing assistant, you will role model Trust values and behaviours, demonstrating professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm.

Applicants should have experience in vital signs, pregnancy tests, urinalysis, chaperoning procedures and examinations, as well as restocking and procurement.
