Job summary

Busy Bees Beechwood seeks a Senior Nursery Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, guiding educational strategies and ensuring high standards of care and learning. You will inspire the team to deliver the Bee Curious curriculum and uphold safeguarding across the centre.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification and supervisory experience, with strong leadership, organisational and communication skills to support children and staff in a thriving nursery environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in early years education or equivalent.
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in an early years setting.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills; able to mentor others.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, supportive environment for children and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting curriculum to needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders for high performance.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children, including additional needs.
• Build strong relationships with parents and communicate development progress.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding compliance across the centre.
