Job summary

Busy Bees Guildford Fitzsimmons Place is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader to drive high-quality early years education across multiple rooms. You will plan, deliver and adapt the Bee Curious curriculum, lead Room Leaders, and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing.

Ideal candidate: Level 3+ in early years, proven leadership in an EY setting, strong organisational and communication skills. We offer a supportive team, competitive pay, ongoing development, and extensive staff benefits.

What To Expect As a Senior Nursery Room Leader

• Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
