Job summary

Butlins Little Learners Day Nursery in the United Kingdom is seeking a Room Leader who will supervise and support the nursery team to deliver a safe, stimulating play environment and a consistent Parent/Carer/Child experience.

You will deputise for the Nursery Manager, ensure policy compliance, maintain records, lead EYFS observations and planning, and coach staff to meet each child's next steps, while safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Early Years with Level 2 or above.
• Experience in an EY environment.
• Leadership experience in a childcare setting.
• Ability to coach and lead staff on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the nursery team with planning, organisation and operation of rooms.
• Ensure OFSTED and EYFS standards are adhered to and safety policies are followed.
• Maintain accurate records including daily registers and safeguarding documentation.
• Deliver a stimulating and varied programme of play to support children's learning journeys.
• Liaise with families and other professionals to support children's progress.
