Job summary

The East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner in Canterbury to lead a base room, safeguarding, and deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS. You will support colleagues, build strong partnerships with families and help drive continuous improvement across the nursery.

You will have a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification, experience leading nursery staff, and a proactive, organized approach focused on delivering outstanding care and education

Qualifications

• Requires Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience leading or supervising nursery colleagues.
• Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead a base room, creating a safe, stimulating environment for every child to flourish.
• Inspire colleagues and promote outstanding practice across the nursery.
• Collaborate with the Nursery Leadership Team to deliver high-quality care and education per EYFS.
