Salary ranges from £29,000 to £31,000 depending on experience. The role emphasizes safeguarding, teamwork, and delivering excellent standards of care and education.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Up-to-date DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support children’s development.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress to inform planning.
• Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that promotes children’s wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care and education.
• Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and support children’s needs.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery procedures.
