Qualifications

  • Experience in an early years setting with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • A valid DBS and willingness to obtain First Aid and Food Hygiene certifications.

About the Role As a Senior Practitioner, you will:
  • Lead a nursery room, supporting and guiding staff
  • Create engaging learning experiences following EYFS guidelines
  • Build strong relationships with parents and external professionals
  • Oversee key areas such as SENCO, Health & Safety, or Parent Partnerships
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery, including staff supervision and safeguarding
What You ll Need
  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience in an early years setting with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A genuine passion for child development and outdoor learning
  • Leadership experience or the confidence to step into a managerial role
  • A valid DBS, Paediatric First Aid certificate, and Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to obtain them)
