Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join the Commercial team in our busy early years' nursery. You will support the Nursery Manager and work with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality childcare and education.

You will apply EYFS standards, lead by example, and monitor care, safety and development through observation and assessment, while building strong partnerships with parents.

  • Recent leadership experience in early years settings.
  • Ability to plan for children's learning using EYFS.
  • Strong partnership with parents and carers.
  • Organised and hardworking.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen in the Commercial team at EKC Group, for a Senior Nursery Practitioner to support the Nursery Manager and work in a team in our early years' nursery.

The post holder will support students in developing to their full potential and providing an excellent childcare service.

About you

We are looking for a hardworking, dynamic and organised individual who has the skills and knowledge to provide and monitor the standards, care and education with reference to all aspects of Early Years Foundation Stage.

The post holder will be able to display recent evidence of a leadership and management role, an ability to accurately plan for children's individual learning and development through observation and assessment using the EYFS and a proven track record of working in partnership with parents.
