Nursery Job Opportunity in Barnet

We are seeking an experienced senior practitioner to join our team at The Hyde Nursery in Barnet. The role involves supporting within the rooms, working closely with the team and room leader. The salary is approximately £31k, depending on experience, with excellent benefits and good transport links.

The Hyde Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, located in the iconic Hyde Institute building in High Barnet. Our setting is registered for 88 children and is minutes away from green spaces, which we utilize in all weather conditions, including access to outdoor gardens.

Requirements

As Assistant Head of Room, you will:

1. Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources suitable for children's ages and developmental stages, working as part of the team.
2. Assist in implementing an effective key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
3. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times.
4. Support the Head of Room in maintaining best practices within the team.
5. Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
6. Hold a qualification at level 3 or above, with at least 3 years of experience working in a day nursery and a minimum of 1 year in a senior nursery practitioner role.
