Job summary

Busy Bees Bicester Kingsmere is seeking a Nursery Manager to lead a Good-rated Ofsted nursery with a capacity for up to 110 children. You will drive educational quality, staff leadership and safeguarding, backed by regional and central support to shape a positive culture and practice.

The role requires Level 3 childcare qualification and 2 years of leadership in early years settings, with opportunities for career progression into area management and wider operational roles.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 3 childcare qualification and leadership experience in early years settings.
• Proven track record in leading high-quality early years provision and improving outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of the nursery with full responsibility for quality of education.
• Inspire and develop staff; build a strong, collaborative team.
• Ensure safeguarding, compliance and safe, secure environment.
• Oversee financial resources and budgets; optimise operations.
• Engage with parents, staff and the local community.
• Support professional development and progression pathways.
