Job summary

Band 6 charge nurse post on a rehabilitation ward run by Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust, supporting the Ward Manager. The role centres on leading the ward day to day, with clinical supervision of nursing staff and students and a visible bedside presence.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing and resources, supporting recruitment, appraisal and staff development, and ensuring Trust policies and statutory standards are met.

• Registered General Nurse educated to degree level.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
