Responsibilities of a Senior Staff Nurse:
  • Join our Oncology department as an experienced Oncology Nurse.
  • Deliver quality nursing care in line with hospital standards, current government, and N.I.C.E guidelines for patients requiring cytotoxic chemotherapy, including assessment, care implementation, and outcome evaluation.
  • Provide appropriate information, advice, and support to patients and families requiring cytotoxic chemotherapy.
  • Prioritize patient care, ensuring a patient-first approach, which is central to our reputation.

You’ll enjoy working in an innovative, clean, modern environment with support and training opportunities, along with a nurse-patient ratio that ensures high standards of care.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Ideally, have completed the UKONS passport or hold a qualification in the safe administration of chemotherapy. We are also open to developing our own and supporting trainees in chemotherapy administration.
  • Possess cannulation/venepuncture skills and be able to access CVADs.
