NHS National Services Scotland is seeking an inspiring clinical leader, a nurse or midwife on the NMC register, to join the Professional and Practice Development Team. We are looking to recruit an inspiring clinical leader who is warm, confident and authentic to join our team. This role is situated within the Professional and Practice Development Team with a portfolio that includes, but is not limited to, Patient Experience, Whistleblowing and Education.

The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively across the organisation to enhance the quality of care and experience that every person has during their healthcare journey. Your work will be underpinned by a person-centred, rights-based and trauma-informed approach.

You must be a degree educated nurse or midwife on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register; and be able to demonstrate a commitment to professional development through post registration learning and education. You should have master’s level education or equivalent evidenced through continuing professional development. You’ll bring strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in quality improvement, governance and leading complex change.
