Job summary
GenesisCare UK is seeking a Principal Cell and Advanced Therapy Nurse to provide national clinical leadership across transplant, cellular therapies and advanced haematology services. You will work with senior leaders to ensure safe, high-quality delivery across the network and drive governance, training, and innovation.
You will lead competency frameworks, support senior nurses across sites, and shape service development for new therapies. Regular travel to GenesisCare sites is expected.
Qualifications
- Current NMC registration as an adult nurse.
- Extensive senior clinical experience in haematology, transplant or cellular therapies.
- Proven leadership at a senior or strategic level across multiple sites.
- Strong governance, quality improvement and risk management understanding.
- Demonstrable experience of service development and change management.
Responsibilities
- Provide national leadership for transplant and cell therapy nursing practice across GenesisCare UK.
- Act as clinical subject matter expert for transplant and cellular therapies, including CAR-T.
- Lead development and assurance of competency frameworks and training programmes.
- Support and develop senior nurses, fostering learning and professional development.
- Provide strategic oversight of governance, safety and quality assurance.
- Lead clinical audit, incident review, QI initiatives, and policy development.
- Shape strategic development of transplant and cell therapy services and new therapies.
- Collaborate with operations for safe staffing and capacity optimisation.
- Offer expert professional advice to senior leaders and represent GenesisCare externally.
