We are recruiting for a Senior Nurse to join our Glenroyd Care Home in the centre of Blackpool. As a Senior Nurse, you'll use your leadership skills to ensure our residents receive the quality care we're known for. You'll be a hands-on clinical leader creating a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of mental and physical needs. Using your professional judgment, you'll make critical clinical decisions, from assessing new residents to implementing safeguarding policies and administering medicines in line with NMC regulations. You will also support and mentor your team to ensure they have the necessary clinical training to deliver high standards of nursing care. As a Senior Nurse (General), you'll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be valued and respected for your work.

ABOUT YOU

To join us as a Senior Nurse (General), you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration and a mentoring or supervision qualification. Experience in producing care plans and detailed risk assessments is important, as is up-to-date knowledge of current clinical practices. An understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, is also required. You'll be a natural leader and problem solver with experience working with older adults and acting as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. Dedicated, ambitious, and resilient, you'll have a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
