As a Senior Nurse for our overnight service, you will oversee and coordinate the provision of overnight care in the community, ensuring high standards of care and addressing safeguarding incidents. This predominantly managerial role involves managing a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring their development through supervision and quality review of clinical services. You will also participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and quality improvement initiatives, while maintaining effective communication with patients, families, carers, and the wider community. Additionally, you will be involved in the development and implementation of new initiatives and projects, contributing to a forward-thinking charity dedicated to innovative approaches to palliative care.

We are recruiting for a Senior Nurse to join our overnight care services across Somerset, Bristol, Northern Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Home working, but may require some travel across Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire
As a Senior Nurse for our overnight service, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the overnight care provided in the community. Your primary responsibilities will include managing care standards and investigating safeguarding incidents.
This position is predominantly managerial rather than clinical, offering significant scope for professional development. We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovative approaches to palliative care and eager to contribute to new and exciting projects within a forward-thinking charity.
