Job Summary:

The Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer will be responsible for the production of safety assurance deliverables during design, construction, operation, and decommissioning.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting our client in managing nuclear safety and ensuring compliance with the Site Licence Conditions.
2. Experienced in one or more areas of safety case development, which include the following:
3. Safety Case Production (e.g. SJP, PCSR, PCmSR, PRS)
4. Modification/ Design Change Submissions (LC/AC 22)
5. Decommissioning
6. Functional Safety Assessment
7. Regulatory Interface/ Generic Design Assessment (GDA)
8. Availability, Reliability and Maintainability (ARM)
9. System Safety
10. ALARP Assessment
11. Safety & Risk Assessment
12. Deterministic Safety Assessment
13. Probabilistic Safety Assessment
14. Nuclear Safety Legislation, Regulation and Policy
15. Engineering Substantiation
16. HAZOP and other identification studies
