Job summary

Orano Group in the UK is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering team, delivering projects from FEED to commissioning, across multi-disciplinary teams. The role requires travel to client sites and regular collaboration with Orano sites.

Responsibilities include delivering technical studies, mechanical design across all phases, and ensuring compliance with regulated nuclear standards. A degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years' experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as nuclear.
• Knowledge of FEED, detailed design and technical specification review.
• Experience delivering projects for regulated nuclear sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage technical studies.
• Design mechanical processes from concept to commissioning support.
• Support mechanical handling studies including powder tech and gloveboxes.
