Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Nuclear Consultant to support a growing pipeline of Technical Advisory opportunities. UK-based with opportunities for travel within the UK and internationally, the role offers hybrid working arrangements.

You will deliver robust technical and strategic advice to nuclear clients, contribute to business development, and mentor colleagues while staying up to date with regulatory developments and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or industrial experience is required.
• Chartership with a recognised professional institution is essential.
• Knowledge of the UK nuclear sector, current trends and opportunities is required.
• Understanding of UK legislation, policy, regulatory guidance and best practice for environmental aspects of licensed nuclear sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust technical and strategic advice across nuclear client portfolios.
• Advise on deliverability, scheduling, licensing, validation and permitting.
• Collaborate with the wider business to promote nuclear advisory offerings.
• Mentor colleagues and support recruitment and resourcing.
• Promote Mott MacDonald's Advisory business internally and externally.
