Job summary

Great Yarmouth, Norfolk – a growing electronics manufacturing business is seeking a Senior NPI Engineer to join its Production Engineering team in Great Yarmouth. This permanent role offers £50,000-£55,000, a 37.5-hour working week and on-site 9-day fortnight, with security clearance required to work on defence, aerospace and oil & gas programmes.

Qualifications

Experience within Manufacturing Engineering, NPI or Industrialisation.
Experience delivering engineering or manufacturing projects.
Strong planning and project coordination skills.
Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-reliability industries.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead Manufacturing Engineering and NPI projects from concept through to production.
Coordinate New Product Introduction activities, readiness and trials.
Support industrialisation of new and existing products.
Develop project plans, schedules and monitor milestones.
Coordinate across Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Design Engineering.
Manage project risks and priorities to ensure delivery.
Drive continuous improvement, yield improvement and cost reduction.
Support capacity planning and process optimisation.
Produce project reports and updates for senior stakeholders.
Ensure manufacturing documentation, processes and training are completed prior to production release.
Provide engineering support to resolve manufacturing issues.
Promote Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence.
