Role Overview: Customer-facing NPD Technologist responsible for ensuring project timelines are met, launching products on schedule, and supporting briefs with innovative ideas based on market data and research.

You will manage customer accounts with NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch, creating innovative designs aligned with current trends. The role requires working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all key milestones are achieved.

Additional responsibilities include sourcing new ingredients suitable for design, customer, and site requirements, as well as cost considerations.

This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with Retailer customers through submission meetings and work alongside factory teams and process technologists to support factory trials.

The ideal candidate will have experience as an NPD Technologist in the food industry, with knowledge of bakery ingredient functionality, HACCP principles (minimum Level 3 qualification), excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and Food Hygiene qualifications. Familiarity with retailer Codes of Practice and Policies is also desirable.
