Senior Node.js Developer - 12 months - £700 per day - SC ClearedRate: £700 per dayDuration: 12 monthsLocation: Remote IR35: InsideThe role:A leading Central Government Institution is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to support and enhance a critical platform, working within a product-centric, agile team.This is an initial 12-month contract, Inside IR35, and an active SC Clearance is required.Essential Skills and Experience:

• Strong expertise in Node.js development, including backend service design and RESTful APIs
• Experience building scalable, high-performance applications
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerisation (e.g. Docker)
• Working knowledge of testing frameworks and CI/CD practices
• Ability to contribute to architecture and technical decision-making

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience with React or front-end integration
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Strong collaborator with mentoring experience, supporting junior developers and sharing best practices
