Senior Node.js Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer who’s ready to take on a key role in developing and running a high-scale, multi-environment SaaS product. If you love working with Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS in a modern microservices architecture, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You’ll be working on a platform that operates across 70+ Git repositories, utilising Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

We need someone who thrives in complex systems, can mentor junior developers, and enjoys solving big technical challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Designing, developing, and optimizing scalable Node.js & TypeScript backend systems.
2. Taking ownership of key components within a modern microservices architecture.
3. Leading by example—providing guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve performance.
5. Ensuring security, scalability, and reliability across cloud-based infrastructure.
6. Ensuring best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud deployment.

What We’re Looking For

1. Extensive hands-on experience in backend development with Node.js & TypeScript.
2. Solid expertise with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3, Kinesis, etc.).
3. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Docker).
4. Experience working with Postgres/MySQL databases.
5. A problem solver who takes ownership and thrives in an agile environment.
6. A team player who can mentor, lead, and inspire those around them.
