Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant - Nights for Westwood Cre Home in Sheringham. You will support the care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, respectful environment for residents, visitors and staff.

The role requires an NVQ3 in care (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' experience in a similar setting, with strong communication skills and flexibility to cover night duties. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Flexible and responsive to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and updating care plans as needed.
• Involvement in person-centred care planning, monthly evaluations.
• Supporting residents with medication requirements.
• Undertaking staff supervision and supporting staff development.
• Acting as a key contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and relevant professionals.
