Job summary

GCB AGENCY RECRUITMENT is recruiting a seasoned New Homes Business Development Manager in Chatham to drive new business opportunities, build strong relationships with housebuilders and developers, and support the performance of new homes sales teams.

This senior role requires a proven track record of winning instructions, managing teams, and delivering against commercial targets, with a focus on growth, budgets and expanding services such as mortgages, conveyancing, lettings and valuations.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new homes sales instructions across developments of varying sizes.
• Experience managing, coaching and motivating teams to meet targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Commercially driven with budget responsibility and target delivery.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and present to housebuilder clients to secure new homes instructions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with housebuilders, developers and residential offices
• Identify and develop new opportunities across varying-size developments
• Manage, motivate and incentivise site sales consultants to achieve targets
• Coach and support teams to maximise sales performance
• Generate opportunities for mortgages, conveyancing, lettings and property valuations
• Work with the area New Homes support team to ensure marketing and sales administration is managed effectively
• Problem-solve and influence outcomes to achieve the best commercial results
• Work towards agreed business development and sales targets
• Collaborate with the land team to identify opportunities
