Job summary

Arctoris Ltd. seeks an experienced cell biologist to join the neuroscience and iPSC team at Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire. You will lead hands-on experiments in mammalian neuronal models and manage data from client and internal projects.

The role emphasizes experimental design, collaboration with teams, and driving novel neuroscience methods while contributing to drug discovery programs.

Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, or related field.
• Ideally 1–3 years of post-PhD experience, predominantly in an industrial setting.
• Some experience of working in a drug discovery environment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of internal and client research projects to high standards under guidance of senior team members.
• Perform in vitro experiments and assays with precision and rigor.
• Maintain mammalian, iPSC and primary cell cultures across neuroscience contexts.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and present findings in high-quality reports.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all experimental work.
• Follow SOPs to ensure reproducibility and high-quality standards.
