Senior Network Specialist – London

Reporting to the Technology Architect, we have a rare opportunity for you to join us at PPHE. You will work closely with the network and support teams and our Meeting & Events Departments in the hotels, responsible for designing, managing, and supporting the Group’s Internet/Wi-Fi network infrastructure and IP Telephony systems.

The role involves flexible working hours, totaling 40 hours per week. The individual must be available to respond to major incidents or service disruptions affecting business continuity.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Create and maintain network infrastructure documentation.
• Manage, support, monitor, and develop Wi-Fi and IP telephony platforms across properties.
• Support Wi-Fi and IP telephony incidents, including large M&E events.
• Handle escalations and resolve network issues.
• Administer Wi-Fi and telephony equipment with the network team.
• Monitor network performance for optimal operation.
• Manage assets related to Wi-Fi, telephony, and network hardware/software.
• Assist with network changes, upgrades, and cabling works.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve remote incidents and changes.

Additional duties:

• Coordinate installation of network hardware/software across the Group.
• Research and recommend new products and standards.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with policies.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Support new system implementations and test network performance.
