Senior Network & Security Engineer – Cloud Migration (Contract)

Location: Edinburgh/Hybrid

Contract Length: 3 Month Initial Contract

Day Rate: Approx £550 - £600 Inside IR35

Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer to lead a large-scale cloud migration project for a major Banking client. You'll play a key role in transforming on-prem infrastructure into secure, scalable cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network and security solutions across hybrid environments
• Lead firewall, data center, and cloud migrations
• Configure and manage Cisco (ASA, Firepower, ISE, ACI), Palo Alto, Checkpoint
• Optimize routing (BGP, OSPF), Layer 2/3 switching, and SD-WAN deployments
• Ensure cloud and network security compliance with best practices

What You Bring:

• Experience working within Financial Services
• Strong hands-on experience in network infrastructure & security engineering
• Proven background in cloud migration projects (Azure/AWS)
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise firewalls, network protocols, and cloud architecture
