Senior Network Engineer – Bristol – £60,000 - £70,000 DOE – Hybrid

Location: Bristol, UK (hybrid)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the network runs efficiently day-to-day, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Tackling complex challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing improvements.
  • Supporting the evolution of monitoring systems and automation approaches.
  • Influencing roadmap decisions and contributing to future upgrades.
  • Acting as a trusted point of escalation for incidents.
  • Mentoring and supporting other engineers, sharing best practice.
Requirements
  • Strong background in network engineering within a service provider, data centre, or similar environment.
  • Solid understanding of modern network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with routing and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and automation concepts.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Leadership or mentorship qualities.
  • Industry certifications are a bonus, but not essential.
