2 x Senior Network Engineer - Citrix/Python - Up to £300k Total Compensation

Role:

• Handle network installation, configuration, and maintenance across office, data-centre, and colocation sites.
• Focus on Cisco and Arista equipment, especially routers and switches.
• Primarily project-focused, but will serve as a Point of Escalation for the Network Operations team.
• Work on initiatives to improve go-to-market speed, investing in compute power, colocation, and cloud.
• Design and implement green-field networking solutions.
• Research and evaluate new network technologies.
• Operate in a network automation-heavy environment.
• Infra environment: Hybrid (Windows and Linux, mainly Linux), AWS, and OpenShift Cloud.

Requirements:

• Strong core network engineering experience.
• Automation experience with Python, Golang, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GIT, Kubernetes.
• Experience designing network solutions for production.
• Experience with global WAN build, BGP, segment routing, SD-WAN.
• Broad infrastructure knowledge, preferably within small to medium-sized firms.
• Data-centre experience.
• Timing solutions: GPS, PTP, NTP, PPS.
• Packet analysis with Wireshark.
• Packet capture: optical taps, SPAN, tap aggregation, timestamping.
• No issues with non-compete clauses.
• Bonus: Investment sector experience, low latency networking.
