We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer - Systems contractor to join our team on a 10-month basis. This role is critical to delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing digital infrastructure that keeps people connected.

  • Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable network solutions that support millions of users across the UK
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges and bring innovative ideas to life
  • Manage the full lifecycle of active network components, ensuring everything runs smoothly from concept to implementation
  • Use your expertise to guide best practices, mentor others, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Work with cutting-edge technologies in areas like automation, security, and fibre infrastructure to shape the future of connectivity

Specialist depth and breadth of network engineering at scale in one or more of the following areas:

  • Access
  • Core
  • DWDM
  • Automation
  • Security

Excellent understanding of layer 2 and 3 technologies, with a focus on Ethernet, CoS and QoS, MPLS, IPv4 and IPv6

Experience of mixed vendor environments, product life cycle, and technology migrations
