Job summary

CGI in London is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to own installation, configuration and ongoing optimisation of secure networking environments. You will apply networking, Linux, and cloud skills across Proxmox, AWS, Azure and GCP, with on-site presence five days a week.

You will influence infrastructure planning, script automation with Python/Bash/Ansible, and collaborate with CGI experts to deliver high-impact client environments.

Qualifications

• CCNA-level networking knowledge and fundamentals.
• Linux administration experience, ideally Red Hat.
• Experience with Python, Bash and Ansible.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
• Juniper configuration/installation and Proxmox experience advantageous.
• Ability to own technical deliverables and collaborate across teams.

• Build & Configure: Install and configure secure networking infrastructure across environments.
• Maintain & Optimise: Support reliable, secure, high-performing networks and infra.
• Automate & Improve: Use Python, Bash and Ansible to streamline operations.
• Administer & Support: Manage Linux-based systems and virtualization (Proxmox).
• Enable Cloud: Apply networking know-how across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Plan & Deliver: Build infra on- and off-site and assist procurement.
• Collaborate & Contribute: Work with CGI experts and stakeholders to deliver secure solutions.
