NaphCare is hiring an experiencedSenior Palo Alto Network Engineerjust like you to join our team on-site at theCorporate Headquarterslocated inBirmingham, AL 35216. 8+ years of networking engineering with extensive Palo Alto experience required.

The Senior Network Engineer is a senior level position expected to provide top tier of support related to the design, installation, management, and maintenance of our nationwide network of sites and users. Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is PREFERRED.

US Citizen or Green Card only. No visa sponsorship or transfer. This is an on-site position in Birmingham, AL 35216.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation, Management, Configuration, Optimization and Troubleshooting of Palo Alto Firewalls
  • Senior level position expected to provide top tier of support related to the design, installation, management, and maintenance of our nationwide network of sites and users
  • Experience with large enterprise level networks.
  • Implementation, Management and troubleshooting of Cisco and Aruba networks
  • Keeping network documentation updated and current
  • Communicate with end-users in order to provide top tier support for network issues
  • Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) - PREFERRED
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of network engineering experience is required for this senior level position.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and previous IT consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Experience with Solarwinds, Cisco Switches, Aruba AP, Wireshark knowledge.
  • Avaya IP Office experience a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Visio, Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and ability to communicate with all levels of cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise.
  • Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, to support networks across the country.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members.
