Senior Network Engineer – Design & Global Network Ops

Job summary

Radius is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in London to manage and enhance global network services. You will primarily work with Juniper technologies and firewalls, with potential Cisco to Juniper transfers.

The role balances 35% design work with 65% BAU support across UK sites and European offices. You will maintain routers, switches, and related equipment, deliver customer connections, and contribute to IT project delivery while coordinating with the Head of Networks.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in a computer related subject.
• Must have knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange Server, LANs, WANs, virtualization, TCP/IP, Routing, SANs, network design, firewalls, Active Directory, encryption technologies, system monitoring and management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure all routers, switches, and related network equipment.
• Deliver and support customer connections, including server sockets, VLANs and related services.
• Support network security through monitoring, baselining and working with assessors.
• Support telephony systems, including ISDN and SIP services.
• Assist in planning and budgeting for replacements and EOL management.
• Provide technical support for service‑network cabling and layout.
