Job summary

CACI Ltd in the UK is seeking a Level 2 Network Engineer to join the UK Deployment Team, supporting planning, delivery and deployment of customer network infrastructure.

The role focuses on delivering network and security projects that enhance client infrastructure and ensure it can meet current and future business demands. You will apply strong routing/switching skills and work across DC, LAN and WAN environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with routing protocols and enterprise LAN/WAN/DC architectures.
• Experience in network migrations and transformation projects.
• Ability to design rack layouts and structured cabling for medium data centres.
• Strong TCP/IP, subnetting, VLAN, VRF, ACL, NAT, DNS and DHCP knowledge.
• Advanced troubleshooting with packet captures and logs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deploy technology changes for DC services.
• Deploy LAN infrastructure to support end user services.
• Create implementation and change verification plans.
• Document network estate for operations and change planning.
• Peer review deployment plans and provide feedback.
