Job summary

Confluence Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Administrator specializing in networking to own the enterprise network lifecycle from design to operations in London, UK.

You will collaborate with IT stakeholders to implement scalable, secure solutions and reduce external vendor reliance. The role requires hands‑on Cisco expertise, SD‑WAN transformation experience, and strong scripting/automation capabilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in enterprise IT infrastructure or networking roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco technologies (Firepower, ISE, SD‑WAN – Viptela/Catalyst).
• Deep knowledge of network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing).
• Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) across multi‑site environments.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and transitioning solutions into production.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Experience maintaining infrastructure health (patching, upgrades, configurations).
• Experience in SaaS or cloud‑based environments
• Exposure to virtualized infrastructure (e.g., VMware)
• Familiarity with enterprise storage platforms (e.g., NetApp)
• Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible)
• Cisco certifications (CCNP or CCIE)

• Own the full network lifecycle — from design through to operations, not just delivery.
• Step into a true SME role with visibility and influence across infrastructure decisions.
• Work hands‑on with modern Cisco technologies, including SD‑WAN transformation.
• Drive real impact by building internal capability and reducing vendor reliance.
