Job summary

A leading trading company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (Cisco CCIE) based in London with a competitive salary up to £150k. You will lead a strategic network redesign, taking ownership of projects and collaborating with a skilled team while enjoying perks such as private medical care, wellness days, and a training budget. Senior Network Engineer (Cisco CCIE) London to £150k

Do you have expertise with Cisco networking?

You could be progressing your career at a highly profitable, systematic Hedge Fund that invests in sports betting markets whilst enjoying a range of perks and benefits.

As a Senior Network Engineer you will take a lead role in a strategic global, network redesign to modernise existing systems. You'll be hands‑on designing, deploying and troubleshooting the global network infrastructure, implementing optimisations and making improvements to monitoring and observability.

You'll take ownership of projects and take a lead role within a team of highly skilled engineers, collaborate with business stakeholders, assess new technologies and make recommendations within a flat structure where you can make an impact.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of London with in‑house gym and steam room, games room with pool tables and dart boards, library and free high quality catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from the onsite chef with flexibility to work from home once a week (please note that during probation you will be required onsite five days a week).

About you:

• You have expertise with network design and engineering within a Cisco environment, with CCIE certification
• You have a strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, SD‑WAN, MPLS, BGP, multicast, TCP/UDP
• You have a good knowledge of AWS
• You have experience within Capital Markets / trading systems
• You're commercially aware and keen to understand the business impact of what you do
• You have technical leadership and mentoring skills
• You have excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
• Ideally you will have an interest in sports with an understanding of betting
