Job summary

Radiant is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in the UK to design, deploy, and operate the high‑performance, low‑latency network that underpins our GPU infrastructure. You will influence architecture, automation, and operational standards for scalable, resilient networks across multi-region environments.

You will collaborate with enterprise customers and internal teams, own L3/L4 support, and promote engineering excellence through documentation, change control, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in HPC/AI networking for GPU-based or HPC clusters.
• 8–12+ years in networking, including 5+ years in globally distributed environments.
• Experience with multi-region backbone networks, transit/peering, and high-availability design.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable leaf-spine networks using Mellanox switches with Cumulus Linux, integrated with Juniper PTX routers and SRX firewalls.
• Perform configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Juniper and NVIDIA/Cumulus devices in production.
• Implement SDN designs to support automation and scalability.
• Support Kubernetes networking with CNIs such as Calico, Cilium, or Kube-OVN.
• Develop Ansible playbooks and Python automation for config management and provisioning.
• Implement observability using SNMP, sFlow, and gRPC for bottleneck detection.
• Lead L3/L4 incident response, escalation, and root-cause analysis.
