Our client’s software products are used by Fortune 100 corporations globally and the Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in the implementation and support of their on-prem and cloud-based Carrier Grade network infrastructure.

The Network Engineer will join an established team supporting global customers at a senior level – the preference is for candidates to have experience with AWS / VPC, but those who have established on-prem/Data Centre Network troubleshooting backgrounds in enterprise environments will also be considered.

The company are investing heavily and offer excellent training and career path opportunities, their offices are commutable from Southampton, Bournemouth, Basingstoke, Fareham areas.

Core responsibilities:

• Support and integrate Carrier Grade Networks for a range of external customers
• Support and configure firewalls, switches, and routers
• Test Cloud based network devices, Firewalls, Load Balancer
• Communicate effectively with team members and external customers

Key requirements:

• 5+ years’ in a Network Engineering role within an Ops or Engineering environment
• Extensive background of Network support and implementation – awareness of security, reliability, and scalability
• Strong Cisco experience and certifications – CCNA, CCNP or similar
• Understanding of YAML, JSON
• Experience configuring AWS, VPC endpoints is desirable
• Familiar with AWS Route53, AWS Routing is desirable
• Telco; VoIP, SIP Peering and Trunking is desirable
