Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco and Arista systems, as well as a deep understanding of network security platforms. The Network Engineer will play a critical role in managing and supporting our infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and support Cisco and Arista network systems.
2. Implement and maintain secure network connections using Zscaler VPN and security platforms.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
4. Configure and monitor network devices, including switches and routers.
5. Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures.
6. Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement network solutions.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and best practices.

Key Competencies

Qualifications

1. Proven experience with Cisco and Arista network systems.
2. Hands-on experience supporting network infrastructure in a data centre environment.
3. Strong knowledge of routing protocols and network configurations.
4. Experience with VPN and network security platforms, particularly Zscaler.
5. Cisco certifications are highly desirable.
6. Advanced knowledge of routing protocols and network design.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
9. Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with network automation tools and scripting.
2. Additional certifications in network security and design.
