The Senior Technical Network Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and related hardware. The engineer will troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support to staff.

This role is home-based with travel requirements (field).

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Design:
- Maintain expert-level understanding of our technical products and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support presales efforts with technical expertise.
- Test and validate new equipment and technologies.
- Lead technical design and implementation of connectivity and TV infrastructure, including site surveys and troubleshooting.

2. In-Life Operations:
- Provide third-line support for complex network issues.
- Oversee operational delivery of projects.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure.
- Develop and update technical documentation.
- Manage configuration changes and vendor relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Juniper Mist, Ruckus, Cisco, or Cradlepoint WAN/LAN/WLAN products.
- Knowledge of wireless controllers, switches, access points, and routers.
- Experience with network design, including SD-WAN.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Certifications such as CWNP, CCNP, JNCIS or equivalent.
- Expertise in 802.11 wireless technologies; experience with Ekahau or similar tools is a plus.
- API and scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, etc.) is advantageous.
- Understanding of SMATV, IPTV, and Fibre systems is a plus.
- Full UK Driving Licence required.
