Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineer and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications, and more.

We are currently searching for a Network Security Engineer to join our client on medium to large-scale projects involving design, implementation, and support on Prisma SDWAN and Prisma Access projects. This is a hybrid position with occasional client site visits, potentially 1 day a week.

This is a 6-month contract inside IR35, with a high likelihood of extension.

What you'll be doing:

• Working with our client, a leader in security, delivering multiple SDWAN-focused projects.
• Engaging with clients during discovery, design, implementation, and handover phases.
• Addressing various issues related to products and internal networks.
• Becoming an SME on their product set and main contact for project lifecycle management.
• Assisting with hardware sizing.

What you'll bring:

• A consultative approach.
• Proven experience delivering Prisma Access or Prisma SDWAN projects.
• Confidence to communicate effectively and push back when necessary.
• A strong background in networking.
